ASANA · 2019 – 2026
From 2025 to 2026 I was Director of AI Teammates Engineering, leading three teams on Asana's AI agent product.
I took on AI Teammates in September 2025, before it reached general availability. The team leads and I focused on reliability and core functionality, and we shipped on time.
I also owned Asana's vendor relationships with model providers: Anthropic, OpenAI, and Mistral.
Before AI Teammates I led AI Retrieval. We grew the RAG work from one search feature into a platform the rest of Asana's AI features used.
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
I started in politics. I was on the digital team for the Obama-Biden Transition Project, where I helped launch the new WhiteHouse.gov. After that I joined Weber Shandwick, where I helped clients turn complex policy and technology topics into plain-language digital strategy.
In 2015 I moved to engineering full time – first at Shift, a car marketplace startup, where I joined as an early engineer and left as an engineering manager. From 2019 to 2026 I was at Asana, first leading AI Retrieval and then AI Teammates.
